Rock and Roll man Luke Gasser is known for his work as film director as well as being a musician. Last year he came with the release “Retribution” and anno 2014 the album “Flicker” sees life.
Mr. versatile is back. Luke Gasser with his raspy raw vocals and his various talents. Just as we got to know him Luke presents us with an album of songs that fit together like pepper and salt. Sure, they are great on their own but listening to the whole album means you get the whole little extra experience. Yet, the women are a whole light of inspiration for him having “Million Dollar Girl” on there and the more frisky “Cold Hearted Woman”.
Also we get another featuring with Doro, a combination that we heard before on the previous release and Luke seemed to be satisfied with it so much that he brought back his muse for another one. Just as Doro appeared in his movies. A whole collection of strong songs will follow and basically we can say the album does please us very well.
“Flicker” is just as strong as its predecessor. Rock and roll brought with Luke’s raw voice. He knows what to do and so he did it again. A great rock album for you to check out whenever you are a fan of rock and roll.
