Unscarred – Fake Democracy

Unscarred is a French formation making Thrash metal. The band formed in 2002 but it would take over 10 years for the line up to be in such a state that a release could follow. In 2012 the band released a demo called “Fake Democracy” which they now try to bring out more internationally.

So we get a demo that’s over two years old, never really the best way to promote a band online as we prefer some more recent material but since they decided to go for a wider range we liked to give this a go anyway. A female fronted Thrash formation is something that is not unique but yet rare.
It’s always the question if it fits and where many fail to make an impression Niloofar succeeds in making a better impression. Yet with the support of the band which knows how to complement her voice quite well. Good, the compositions here and there are a little predictable, but the band brings the right passion with it.
We are now two years later and the band have had some time to work on something new. We hope they will not keep us waiting long and bring some new material, perhaps a debut full length on the market so we get to see how the band progressed from that very first demo.
