No:carrier is a making Electro Noire Pop. The band releases their album called: “Wisdom & Failure” this month.
According the band they have explored their own abilities into unknown territory with the release of this album. As a voice we hear a dark one. Cynthia seem to be searching for the borders of her range and knows exactly where to stop and not go further. Though on each border she hits I wonder what it would sound like as a complete opposite extreme. Some more to explore as it seems, but for now we have a whole album that gives you a good base to start with. Instrumentally the band is good on their way as well, with a little remark that your interest might get a little lost at the end of the track list. A different track order could have changed that, but perhaps a bit more dynamic in some of those songs would keep you with it.
Overall “Wisdom & Failure” is an album that has not been made a lot of times before, it has a bit unique touch and although the band has some space to grow, the duo come with a product that has plenty of great moments. One to follow, to be part of what comes next.
