Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen and Esben Valløen started their musical career in 2009 under the name Reptile & Retard but soon renamed themselves Reptile Youth. This is their full-length debut album called “Rivers That Run For A Sea That Is Gone”.
This debut comes with ten songs. If you don’t know any better, you would not expect Reptile Youth to consist of only two guys. The music of the guys is somewhere between indie rock with a touch of Daft Punk and house music. The catchy tunes on the album definitely help you relax and get your mind of all the stressful things life brings along. “Rivers That Run For A Sea That Is Gone” is the perfect album to play in the background. The songs are easy going and definitely drag you along. Smooth and soft yet thriving and catchy. Reptile Youth created a great album to have a good time to. Even though the music of Reptile Youth seems to fade in with the background noises it is somehow addictive. You miss it when the album is done. So quickly press play again and enjoy the debut album “Rivers That Run For A Sea That Is Gone” by Reptile Youth.
