Releasedate: 2014; Label: Raw Entertainment

The Finnish Industrial formation band Black Light Discipline formed in the year 2005. After the release of their debut full length “Empire” many things started to happen and a second followed in 2012. Anno 2014 the band returns with a new album, “Death By A Thousand Cuts” is out now.
The album starts with an exciting intro, hinting to an EBM inspiration wave included into the whole which flawlessly flows into the the track “Look At Me Know” which comes with a high dose of catchiness, so with this start you are drawn straight into the party modus. Looking at the band’s previous releases you could see this release as a marriage between them, the best of both worlds. The vehemence, the edgy part of “Empire” blends perfectly to the more danceable side that comes with “Against Each Other”. One of the tracks that highlights this best is “Under The Knife” which seems not only a track that spins in mind long afterwards but also to be made for a major live sensation at any club or festival performance. The album closes with a Finnish track called “Syviin Vesiin”, coming with a Kätilöt-ish feel.
“Death By A Thousand Cuts” is an album that makes you happy, will the title mislead you, then remember it is the music who shows you different. An experience that sticks!
