The UK ska punk band Skindred has now released their fifth album called “Kill the Power”. Coming with twelve songs this album will definitely get you to move along. Skindred is known for energetic and thriving music that combines quite some genres such as ska, punk, reggae, electro and more.
This album has a variety of songs. From dance floor anthem to ballad, songs that encourage circle pits and songs to just jump and shout along to. From riot to love. This new Skindred album “Kill the Power” spreads a certain warmth and positivity. This is a definite feel good album with a lot of power. There is one song that will go deep down underneath your skin, down to your inner core. “We Live” is a gospel like song. Absolutely amazing. “Ninja” is the perfect song for the masses, to jump and sing along to. “Worlds on Fire” has a huge reggae influence. “More Fire” is a reggae song with acoustic guitar and great rhythms. “Open Eyed” has rough guitar riffs and female singers on the chorus.
