The Polish Death metal formation Embrional started in 2003. In 2008 they released their debut full length album and now it is time for the following up on that: “Absolutely Anti-Human Behaviors”
Embrional is a band that focusses on the pure Death metal, not taking too much melodics upfront, but rather giving it a heavy and thick body. A rather varied album comes from their hands, in which they like to tease with tempo changes that help to make it interesting throughout. Violent atmospheres brought in a cool and uncompromising way, take it or leave it. It is a bit of a point that there are quite some names out there that may have topped this release. It has a body, but missing the face, it may be there but simply sounds a lot like the many other faces out there and misses a slight bit of strength to climb above it. Yet, this release is not on the worst side, it is hicking up the potential and forebodes of how this band may actually become at that higher level. Listen to the track “The Last Step into Nothingness” and you will experience this all. Until then, you’ll be satisfied with this release.
