What The Night Brings – Bound By Apathy

What The Night Brings is a British Hardcore formation. The guys started in 2008 and are now releasing their second EP called “Bound By Apathy”.

The guys are quite brutal, straight from the start. No time to waste before you get to see what they guys are up to. Their sound is full, guitars are quite present and making a good base for the music, but the drums are also placed quite upfront in the mix. Maybe this pushes the vocals back a little in some point but overall these are quite defensive of their own spot and demand their own attention. It is interesting to hear how the band plays around with this balance in the music. At some moments these vocals are like a scream in the back leaving a quite mellow taste to the sound but then some harsher vocals are in their to set you straight back to this brutality level you started the EP with. Obviously the band has quite some to show and a four track EP is just giving enough space for now, but it is likely the guys will grow larger sooner or later and hopefully a nice full length release will come with that.
