Alpha Wolves of the Heavy Metal project Wolfpakk are the full blooded musicians Michael Voss (Ex-Casanova, Mad Max) and Mark Sweeney (Ex- Crystal Ball). Voss and Sweeney have known each other for a long time, always having in mind and discussion to start a project together one day. Since Michael Voss was producer for Mark Sweeney’s 2nd solo album in 2009, it has finally happened that the two found time for this collaboration. So here it is: the Wolfpakk debut, self titled and spiked with ten interesting tracks.
Double kick on the drums, melodic metal vocals like we all know them from the 80s and great melodies sum up to an epic piece of music. You can tell that rock legends created this album. Simply amazing and full of depth Wolfpakk is howling at you. Literally. Some songs include actual howling of wolves. This self titled album by Wolfpakk is a brilliant release filled with awesome 80s metal that does not sound copied. It is real and true all the way down to its core. Made by the ones that already made it back then. Simply amazing. A must have for all melodic metal fans and all the 80s fans!
