Epysode is the new melodic progressive metal band project from Belgium of Samuel Arkan (Virus IV). Epysode includes a cast of singers including Kelly Sundown Carpenter (Ooutworld, Darkology) as “The Profiler”, Oddleif Stensland (Communic) as “The Fallen”, Magali Luyten (Virus IV, Beautiful Sin) as “The Soul”, Rick Altzi (Frequency, Thunderstone, At Vance) as “The Ghost”, and Liselotte Hegt as “The Medium”. Now their debut album is out called “Obsession”.

This album is a quite big project of Samuel Arkan. The cover promises depth. And you won’t get disappointed when listening to it. Melodic metal with female and male vocals taking turns. An epic sound full of brilliant arrangements, vocal and instrument wise create a whole universe on its own. Slow and thoughtful songs combined with fast and pushing tracks this album goes beyond expectations. Like a huge theater production this album tells an entire story, almost as it is alive and takes you on the hand showing you this life, song by song. Brilliant. Epic. A breathtaking debut album that definitely leaves you speechless. Samuel Arkan, the mastermind behind this project, is a genius.
