Betontod is a German punk rock band founded in the early 90s. So far they have released five studio album, this is their fifth called “Antirockstars”. Their lyrics are in German.

“Antirockstars” comes with thirteen tracks that are meant to kick ass. The cover of Betontod’s new album shows a tattooed rock chick that shows quite some skin. The background shows a retro-furnished bedroom. The music on the new Betontod album “Antirockstars” is dirty punk rock, as dirty as it can possibly be. German lyrics sung with a smoky voice, shouting and kicking ass. The guitars keep kicking with their great sound. Female back up on the vocals you can find when listening to “Nebel”. The female voice definitely gets the fog – or smoke to get lighter and maybe even fully dissolve. Betontod pushed through the album, talking about daily life as it comes with all is ups and downs. How to keep running, keep getting up and to be strong. Betontod gives you strength to keep going, because you are not the only one that falls on the ground when life is being a bitch -again. So if you like kick ass punk rock that talks about how it really is, Betontod is your band and “Antirockstars” is the album you should get.
