Releasedate: 16-08-2011; Label: Greyhaze Records

Desalmado is a Brazilian formation that formerly worked under the name of El Fuego. The band makes grind core and releases the EP “Heriditas” now world wide, after releasing it in 2008 as well.
What reason could there be to release such old material again when you claim to have a new full length coming up, knowing that “Heriditas” is grind core without too much excitement, innovation or any other way it stands out? This release appears to be a bit messy, as if no coordination was there at all and they all just try to make the most noise. Riffs are not really special, which makes the release something that you could also find in your local youth shelter. As most positive point in this release you may find the vocals but they are not really boosting the total up to a higher level. Ok, so this 2008 release comes right before they will come with their full length, after more than three years experience we can only hope the band grew and their upcoming release appears more stable. “Heriditas” is just not a release that captures your interest as it is not standing out, so if you like to get to know this band you better wait for their full length release and have a fair look of what the band is up to at this moment.
