The German gothic band Sündenrausch was founded in 2011. After their EP they have now released their debut album which is called “Sündstoff”. The album is coming with ten tracks. All lyrics are in German.

Sündenrausch has a female vocalist that is guiding you through each song. The main music is close to be rock music. Only a few elements and samples, as well as the lyrics make it sound like the music might also fit into the gothic genre. The lyrics are emotional and deep, talking about love and pain. You can tell it is the debut EP, because the music is not as smooth. But everyone starts out in baby shoes. The album includes some catchy melodies, like on “Feuerregen”. Thriving and strong this song is getting you to move along and maybe even gets stuck in your head. The songs on “Sündstoff” varies between heavy and fast songs or slow ballads. Heavy guitar riffs and drums or piano accompanying soft vocals.

The musical style of Sündenrausch is definitely interesting and could work at small shows, festivals or parties. So go ahead and check out their debut EP release with ten songs. But also keep your eyes and ears open for what Sündenrausch will come by with next time.
