The Other was founded in 2002 in Leichlingen, Germany. Rod Usher, Sarge von Rock, Dr. Caligari and Andy Only started out as a Misfits cover band under the name Ghouls in 1999. The Other made a name for themselves soon after their foundation, especially due to their outfits, which are inspired by old horror movies.

Punk and death rock fans appreciated the band’s sound, which can be called a mixture of punk, death rock, rockabilly, and metal. The German horror band has now released their sixth full length studio album which is called “Fear Itself”. The album is coming with fourteen songs that set the mood for Halloween. The lyrics switch between German and English but the mood and atmosphere stays the same. Creepy and dark The Other come crawling up your back, scaring you to the bone. Catchy and thriving they push you through the darkness of cemetery or an old abandoned place. Fifty minutes worth of horror before you have to push the replay button or check if all your doors are locked.

Parents, hide your children. The Other is on the run again and will spread the songs of their brand new album “Fear Itself” for some Trick or Treating. So go ahead and get the ear candy now to be prepared for Halloween.
