Pandora’s Bliss is a female fronted alternative rock band. After a couple years of intense touring and two previous full length studio albums. This is their third release and is called “Amachord”. Coming with twelve songs, the female singer reminds of Hole or The Distillers’ Brody Dalle with her strong and deep voice.
While the alternative rock genre is wide and has quite some sub genres, Pandora’s Bliss fit much more into the grunge genre with “Amachord”. Edgy and loud Pandora’s Bliss seem to be reviving the genre a bit. With a total song duration of a little over forty-five minutes this album is walking over edges and borders like Nirvana and Hole did in the 80s and The Distillers continued. With a smoky and strong female voice, Pandora’s Bliss do not stop for anything. pushing through their album with mellow music and an attitude of carelessness, “Amachord” is taking you on a time travel back to the 80s and 90s.
Strong and catchy this album will get you tapping along to the music, at the very least. Empowering you to stand up and speak this album spreads courage and has you make up your own mind, standing against mainstream and society that tries to be flawless. Go ahead and check out “Amachord” and make up your own mind.
