One Way Mirror is a French formation making Metal with an industrial touch. Their debut saw light in 2008 and anno 2015 they are ready for the release of album number three: “Capture”.
One Way Mirror is a band that always seem to have a lot of fun in doing what they are doing and not take everything too serious, having hilarious covers included in their albums and live experiences. We scanned the track list to see what they come with this time and see “Lady Marmelade” being mentioned. It turned out to be a bit questionable, but then let’s see what the band brings in on their own. Of course the album is filled with energetic tracks and never without a thing to say. “Fuck Your Autotune” being an obvious one but also in the other tracks it is never too far away to find what that is all about for the band is quite direct.
Riffs flow around easily and with the hole mix being right on order the band sets themselves up with a good representation of themselves. Must be said, the album is really a taster for seeing the band live, the music brings the feeling that it will be lived when seen performed live. Perhaps we will see the guys on the road soon.
