Releasedate: 2014; Label: Elitbogalet

As a project Superflesh has been started in 2001. However it took a couple of years before a first release came out (2006). Another six year until the next one, but now in 2014 we get the EP called “Love” to listen to.
Rock/Punk/ Metal it is described and perhaps that is just one way to describe it having various influences included. Keep mainly the punk in mind, for the band gives us a release with a not very shiny production on it as it gives you a rather raw sound. With some of the sounds making you think of some power metal act the band likes to play around with you a bit. Some solo’s come in and you may be drawn into it a bit more, but don’t expect it to blink out of originality. Then in other songs the band chooses a more rock and roll attitude, but not really picking up much tempo much.
Superflesh sounds like a band that likes to build a party and just plays for that reason. Not always taking it serious or perhaps we should say: Always taking it not serious. It sounds like the band would be great to see playing in a small club with a good atmosphere around.
