German Hard Rock formation Jaded Heart has quite a history. The band started over twenty years ago and released quite discography throughout the time. Anno 2014 the band comes with their 12th full length studio release and it is called: “Fight The System”.
Smart move, starting the album with some impressive riffs. The previous releases of Jaded Heart were always pleasant, but never had that factor that made me keep listening over time, so after a while they always ended up in the library. But this time it might be all different. It all seem to overstep the others just a little more. What is their change? Is it the fact that the band has a new drummer in their line-up? Perhaps he brought some new and good vibes along. The songs have just a little more dynamic so they give just a little more to the listeners.
With twelve albums on your name it may be hard to surprise but so you can see that they can still grow out of yourself and step it up some more.
“Fight The System” is an album that has it all. The catchiness, the riffs strong compositions and even though the music itself is not renewing at all Jaded Heart has no problem in putting their own stamp on what we hear, making this a typical Jaded Heart album with just a little more.
