All Hallows Eye – The Dreaming

Releasedate: 2014; Label:
By: Sabine van Gameren

All Hallows Eve is a Dark Wave formation by Tom O’Connell, Lars Kappeler and Mike Shaw. Last year the band released a single but this year they come with a full length album. “The Dreaming” is out now.

After the release of Liquid Grey’s album, there is another release on Echozone that will warm the heart of the gothic scene. All Hallows Eve does not waste time to get into the atmosphere. The band features a variety of vocalists which makes that you have something new to find in each song. It’s good to know that the band regardless all those different voices has managed to make the album sound like an unity. It suits together perfectly. An album opener as “Siren” gives you a calm and serene entry, while a song like “Innocent” brings a bit more body.
The track “All Hallows Eve” is one that stands out a lot. It is catchy and with the vocals of Tim Chandler you easily feel at ease. The album continues with great tracks like “Until The Dawns…” and “Compass” to close it off with “Fade Away”.
“The Dreaming” is a great album to listen to and then we mean, really listen to. With the diverse vocalists blending in you clearly feel like the story is complete. A pleasure for your ears!
