Boysetsfire is a post-hardcore band from Newark, Delaware that formed in October 1994. Boysetsfire is composed of guitarists Chad Istvan and Josh Latshaw, vocalist Nathan Gray, and bassists Chris Rakus and Robert Ehrenbrand. Boysetsfire have now re-released “The Misery Index: Notes From The Plague Years” which is sold as vinyl only.

To all of you Boysetsfire fans out there I probably don’t need to say anything about this album. To everyone else let me say this: “The Misery Index” is the most divers album Boysetsfire ever released. The songs vary from fast and thriving while as others are smooth and easy going. “The Misery Index” includes thirteen songs that take you on a journey through the ups and downs life brings along on the way. Each song on this album differs a whole lot from the previous. From catchy songs that you can easily sing along ti like “Empire” to loud and crazy songs like “So Long … And Thanks For The Cru” this album wanders through styles and paces like no other. With “The Misery Index” the band shows you what they are capable of and they don’t fit in a certain category. Convince yourself and check out the re-release of “The Misery Index”.
