The third album “Broken Hearts and Fallaparts” by Danish six-pieces band “Supercharger” released at 14th of February.
Despite the fact the album titled in soap-ish way (ouch, release date is St Valentine day) this is the most dynamic and rumbling thing I’ve heard for this year. The hanover-ish rockers did bombastic work. I can’t say there is something innovative but why on earth good rock and roll must have more or less power there and here. “Hung Over In Hamburg” is the best prove that’s small pub fits rockers with all the booze in and out. The overdrive “Yeah Yeah Yeah” brought the chorus to the mass. According rock and roll canon there must be “cherchez la femme” track, oh yes, here is it, “Blood Red Lips” with tempting Americana riffs. The most explosive track is, no doubts, “Hold on buddy”. Four minutes of drive, outstanding solos and roaring voice, what could be better?! The easy aggression you can hear in the opener “Like A Pit Bull” that declared good times of rock and roll is back.
Don’t break your heart and split it up. Listen to rock and make crazy things. Don’t forget to add “Broken Hearts and Fallaparts” to you
