Stuntman is a formation from France making ‘Chaotic Noise Hardcore’. The band had actually called its quits in 2002 but returned now with a release called “Incorporate The Excess” which came out in January this year.
Perhaps the release is a bit though, after a one track intro you get a whole blast surrounding you, it seems like those years of rest came with a lot of energy and anger that needs to come out all at once now. But it must be said, the band doesn’t stick with the blunt chopping style you could expect, but let the technical aspects come out in their advance and let it tease you a little. Taking back some tempo, you are still waiting for the moment you can go fully but the guys aren’t giving you their climax yet. The songs self are perhaps not always diverse but have a clear template laying for them. Makes that you know what to expect and yet you will find some surprises in the refined essence. However, you must realize that the album is one for those who actually appreciate the genre, it is not an album that builds bridges. It does not have to be, Stuntman seems confident with their sound and gives their audience an album that shows who they are.
