Jenix is a German female fronted rock band that was founded in 2003. Being supported by SIlbermond and winning some contests Jenix became more and more popular.
In 2011 they finally released their debut album “Kill The Silence”. Now, three years later, Jenix has released their second album called “Circles”. It comes with eleven songs. All songs are sung in English. The music itself is very catchy. The vocals are soft and sweet, sounding so young, on some songs, while on others the singer sounds a little older and sings not as smooth and soft. On the edge between rock and pop Jenix gets you to move along. The music on “Circles” does not include any fancy effects. It is just plain rock music that is coming from the heart. Jenix is a refreshing band amongst all with their pure sound and the strong female fronted vocals, which unfortunately still is quite rare out there. With each listen this album grows to you and you will love it more and more. A very nice effect.
This way the album does not get boring but instead you will find more to discover with each time through. Jenix sure is a band you should keep your eyes and ears open for. “Circles” is out now.
