The four-piece metal band from Osaka (Japan) released theirs second piece of heavy metal “Rock Dinosaur” this winter.
What if I say there is nothing new in conceptual and melodic parts. There is more than that. The six classy heavy metal tracks. Here what we have. Firstly, the equipment’s work which includes mid-to-fast-tempo and crunchy riffs, thumping bass lines, extended lead guitar solos. Secondly, the brilliant and clean vocals plus anthemic choruses. The combination to win. The melodies are not as old as dinosaurs but several nostalgic motifs from seventies and eighties era crossed all the tracks. In my humble opinion, you might listen to all the tracks from the first to the last in the name of legacy of those times. I should point some tracks but I choose only two. The rebellious in some parts “Underground Heroes” brought the power of crystal vocals and weeping mighty guitars. The second track needs to be mention is “Lady of Starlight”. The spices of well-known riffs and all the “lalala” stuff made the track pretty and touching.
Resuming only six tracks (hope the band will release the new full-length album soon), I have only four words which are… ‘listen to heavy metal’. And two words in addition: ‘horns up!’.
