Alkerdeel is a Belgium formation making Black Metal/Sludge. They have been formed in 2005 and released two full length albums so far. Gnaw Their Tongues is a child out of the hands of Mories, who is also known of projects like Aderlating, De Magia Veterum and Cloak of Altering. This year they have decided to release a single together named “DyoDyo Asema”.
The two of them together might bring you something really extreme you realize, both are making music that is not for the masses and require some intensive listening to feel the core of it. Yet, for those who are familiar with these artists may not be too surprised with what they created. It actually starts quite calm. Not without despair and the cold feeling for torture included but yet a rather calm start. The whole track is 19 minutes and the way towards a more eventful part of the music is slowly and a torture an sich.
The building tension you could expect is extended till its fullest here. Halfway the track you get thrown into the deep a bit more, the sensation comes alive, A bit more typical Black Metal sounds without too much smuck do the job perfectly. The end of these sensational highlights are quite abrupt, as if thrown of that cloud you have risen to, to fall deep. Very deep. Cold and cruel, because as always you just don’t really want it to end.
Mories, never fails to please us and from Alkerdeel we had a good impression also, the collaboration with this track is simply a success.
