[de:ad:cibel] are the German duo Daniel Galda and Armin Kuester and formed around 2010. The guys make Electro/EBM and anno 2013 they are releasing their second full length album. “Globalized” is out now.
This duo states it clearly, they like their production to be raw and rebelicious towards the ‘artificially constructed dancefloor clones’. A statement you may find yourself agreeing with listening to this release. Yet the dancefloor does not seem to be a dirty word, so perhaps the bitterness of the undertone in that statement could be sweetened while listening to tracks like “Stimulation” or title track “Globalized”. Just some examples that could do well in a club. But getting their point is not hard listening their tracks either. It is not that there has been a search going on in how to make these tracks as suitable as possible to hit the alternative charts. Pure what comes from the heart, distortion and deepness are what can be found in each of the tracks.
So if you are looking for the ultimate party album, “Globalized” is probably not the best release for you. It is however a good album to listen to and enjoy the words and the message with them.
