“Prong” is hard US formation that released their album “Carved into Stone” after several years of silence.
If only words could kill, you’ll be dead after 2 minutes (or less) of listening to the album. The material is cruel, brutal and gutsy. The speedy guitars, groovy bass line and industrial drill, oh, you’re on the dark side. The sarcastic track “Revenge… best served cold” is supposed to be motivational for those who are trying to teach anger management. Don’t punch your peer in the face immediately. Calm down, breath in and create a list of grievances. C’mon, that’s fun! Like a song itself. After sharp track I should mention the most melodic track on the album. That’s “Put myself to sleep”. It’s still hard and groove but has a touch of pleasant sensations and deep feelings. Oh, those guitar riffs. The titled track is something that could be anthem or just the truth (that is out of there every time). Check the back vocals. It’s a worth. It has been said that sharing personal stories is one of the most effective ways to change people’s hearts and minds. Especially in the way of screaming it out loud. The lyrics are not insane just a bit introverted.
Using a form of logic and hypothesis I’m going to assume that the album deserved attention. Needless to say, if it doesn’t you would be right on the list of grievances.
