Vogelfrei is a German band founded in 1992. In 1999 they released their debut album full of tracks they have recorded between 1994 and 1998. They have released three albums so far and an EP with “Der Dämmerung Entgegen” being their fourth release.

“Der Dämmerung Entgegen” comes with twelve tracks. All songs are in German. Lyrics taken out of daily life make this album very authentic. Many people will be able to relate to this album. Vogelfrei created a great rock album with “Der Dämmerung Entgegen”. There is a lot of distorted guitar on the album while the vocals are not in the main focus. Vogelfrei has a slight touch of punk in their music. Edgy and not too smooth adds the rough touch to this album. The dark cover supports the rough image of Vogelfrei. An album by some bad boys that are speaking the truth is what you find on “Der Dämmerung Entgegen”. All lyrics can be found in the booklet which is held in grey and very dark. The middle of the booklet shows the masterminds behind Vogelfrei: Ricky Alex and Carsten Müller. This album, called “Der Dämmerung Entgegen”, is a very interesting album.
