A Saving Whisper is a five piece Post-Hardcore band from the south of Germany and was founded in spring 2007 by singer Hannes, guitar player Michael and drummer Pascal. In 2008 the formation was completed with Paul and Dani and the first EP “From Plain Sheets To Papercranes” was recorded at Ghost City Recordings with Jan Kerscher. Several shows in the south followed and the band has been grown to a constant in the southern Post-Hardcore scene. Now they released their second EP called “Golden Times For Desperate Lovers”.

This EP of A Saving Whisper includes six tracks of which the first one is an intro. “Golden Times For Desperate Lovers” is a metal EP full of fast riffs, double kick on the bass drum and shouted vocals. Great melodies are added to the metal sound to get the songs stuck in your head easier and to catch attention. Some of the vocal parts are also sung instead of only shouted like for example on “My Friendship’s Are Not Ships They Are Swimming Castles”.
