Ov Hell is Black Metal band from Norway. They started in October 2009 after quite a history with other bands. “The Underworld Regime” is their first release.
Ov Hell will come straight in line with what founding members Shagrath and King ov Hell have shown before in bands like Gorgoroth and God Seed. That did not come as a surprise as the album got made soon after the formation already. Senses that some those songs must have been ready from previous bands. and in order to complete their album they asked back up from their friends in the Norwegian Black Metal scene as a few more known names on the list will do good as well. The recycling of these songs came out quite well. Mid tempo songs, all musicians showing what they are good at and this even in a balanced way, so hardly anything that puts you down. It is not a record that has a lot of experimentation, the essence is to just play the metal and not too much bullshit around it. The production therefore stayed rough, not too polished. “The Underworld Regime” fits well into your collection next to the albums of the previous mentioned bands.
