Max Navarro is an Italian/Canadian rocker. He makes AOR and he is releasing an album called “Somewhere South of Heaven” right now.
It is an album that will do good for your summer. It’s feel good rock and makes you fall right into the mood for going on a road trip. When summer is around the trips options are open and perhaps you’ll be driving to some sort of festival with this release on the play. The commercial sound of the songs are making it recognizable, after a first play you recognize the lyrics and before you know it, you find yourself humming along behind that steering wheel. The catchy choruses are not only filled with strong melodies but have some good riffs in them also which makes the critical listener also pleased.
If we need to find a point of critic on the album, it may be that the songs could have a bit more variation. The track list goes on one long train ride on and the landscape doesn’t change. The risk of having heard it all is around the corner but since the album is relatively short he gets away with it. Furthermore it is simply a nice release that you will enjoy during this summer!
