Fifteen years ago, four teenagers from Utah created a band called The Used and released a collection of albums that shaped the space of the alternative rock scene. High energy live shows, gut wrenching relatable lyrics, and melodies that blended pop sensibility and hard rock was the perfect combination to make an everlasting impression on fans globally. Now the guys have released a live album that is also available on DVD.
“Live And Acoustic At The Palace” is the recording of a show with strings and mainly acoustic performances. The audience was seated. After each song, the singer of The Used told quite some stories. You can hear the audience shouting, screaming, cheering and singing along. A magical night with old and new songs. And very personal songs. Even a cover of the John Lennon song “Imagine” was performed on that night.
“Live And Acoustic At The Palace” is a brilliant live album by The Used. Taking you into the venue on that night and lets you be part of that show. The cheering in between the songs and the talking of the singer draw you in deeper and deeper. So let The Used take you away and into the Palace with their brand new live album.
