Since they formed nine years ago in Roma, Italian trio Black Rainbows have established themselves as one of the most active fuzz-fueled rock acts in Europe, with four albums, a remarkable handful of EPs (including a split record with L.A.’s space rockers Farflung) and countless tours and festival appearances across the continent. Now the Italians have released a brand new album.
The Italians will blow your mind from the very first second you pressed play, until the last note has ceased. Interesting samples and elements are added to the rock music. The vocals match that style and are almost causing you to time travel some decades back. Only the few modern elements, that are also hidden in the arrangements, will keep you here. Each song is absolutely interesting and outstanding. Carrying its own spirit.
“Stellar Prophecy” comes with seven songs. Altogether they last for almost forty-five minutes. The Italians of Black Rainbows added some psychedelic elements to their otherwise rock style. A combination that created a unique sound. One that is interesting. But also one that you must like, especially when it comes to a full length player. Either way, check out “Stellar Prophecy” to make up your own mind.
