Beastmaker hail from the unlikely locale of Fresno, California. Sweating profusely in a parched no man’s land about three and a half hours northeast of Los Angeles, the city isn’t exactly a cultural mecca—and yet it’s the birthplace of Hollywood outsiders and weirdos like Sid Haig, Slim Pickens and director Sam Peckinpah. Still, it suffers from an unsurprising dearth of musicians interested in heavy rock. These Fresno guys have now released a brand new album which goes by the name of “Lusus Naturae”.
The brand new Beastmaker album “Lusus Naturae” is filled with psychedelic rock music. Slowly swaying you back and forth until you are fully in trance, Beastmaker is taking you away into their very own world they create with their music. Strong riffs and intense music is keeping your attention until the last note has ceased. The singer’s voice fades in with the background, the guitar and bass lines are put into the focus. But the vocals still ring in your ears, like a spell. A fascinating arrangement of instruments and vocals, that will leave you behind impressed.
“Lusus Naturae” comes with twelve songs. Altogether the album lasts for almost fifty minutes. Beastmaker takes you on a ride with their music and will not release you until the album has ended. Every fan of psychedelic music out there will love this album. So go ahead and check it out.
