The Australian Hardrock band Sergeant Steel is coming with a new album. “Riders on the Worm” is out now.

They’re quite interesting lads, taking the names of history as a joke in their album. They are having an Ozzy Osbourne imitation in their album and basically you could see it already in their album title. Must be said, it might not be for everyone. Some may found their sense of humor cheap, others might think it is brilliant. All songs seem to have some reference and perhaps their work on that have let them drift away a little bit of bringing it into an unity. The part of Sergeant Steel self is so focused around that aspect of humor that we miss a the skills they have to be taken to the maximum. It may not be their purpose to even do that anyway, but it could have brought it just over the edge.

Sergeant Steel does not take it all too serious. They are obviously having a lot of fun reliving their 80’s and there is nothing wrong with that. Making fun of it will certainly address a bunch of rockers out there that are up for a good night. If you are up for that, these give exactly what you are looking for, if you want to be more serious about it, you may stick with the actual classics.
