The Dutch band Bodyfarm has not been unknown to us, seeing some festival performances of them earlier the guys are now warming our hearts with the release of the album “Battle Breed”.

It is their third release and it is clear that the guys have taken a fair amount of time in creating it. Well thought songs are presented and we like what we are hearing. The band sets us down with interesting riffs, something familiar and something Bodyfarm. They did have some collaborations in there that makes the whole even more interesting. Just adding a little more.
The songs have a touch of Doom but the tempo is not leading under it, the power that comes from vocalist Thomas is hard to deny, it is there and present. Just the way we like it. When the guys are a bit more melodic, like for example in “The Last Crusade”, they manage to give it the diversity that the album needs.
Altogether, “Battle Breed” is a pleasant album from Dutch grounds. We knew the guys have a lot of strength in them and it is good to see it come out in this release. A pleasant album from these guys!
