God Module is an American electronic band. Originally founded in Florida, then reallocated to Washington, God Module is hailing since 1999. With fourteen releases of which three were re-releases and several others were EPs – either with remixes, as a web release or a plain collection of few songs that the band wanted to release – God Module has been quite busy in all these years. Now they have a new studio album that is waiting for your ears: “Prophecy”.
The brand new album “Prophecy” of God Module comes with ten songs. The creepy and slightly disturbing album cover pretty much matches the mood the music on the album sets. Dark and gloomy, sometimes a little creepy. Filled with dark spirits and the darkness itself. AN album you might not want to listen to after dark if you are easy to scare. The vocals are distorted, the melodies are dark and come crawling from behind. Fast electronic beats drag you along, into the darkness God Module creates with “Prophecy”. Evil lyrics meet your ears. The rhythm is almost hypnotic so you will not even realize that you keep listening to the music until the end. Instead you realize it is over and will press play again.
God Module is putting you under their spell when you listen to “Prophecy”. So be careful but definitely give it a try. This album is another great one in the dark wave genre.
