Dutch singer/songwriter Bruno Rocco has some Croatian roots. With “Lonely Rider” recently release he has some new material on hands.
“Lonely Rider” comes with a cover that says it all. The album must surely be taken from the life of Bruno himself. Reading the song titles only strengthen these thoughts so already before you start listening you have the feeling you are getting allowed access to a personal story to be told. A raw, deep voice is welcoming you. What comes to notice is that some lyrics are just repeated a bit too often, maybe what is lacking is a bit more depth here and there, the story to be brought with a bit more than we are getting now. Take for example “Lonely Rider” it has a nice video made, but when you are half way you have heard it. Such a shame. If that EP would be a full length we are not sure if people could sit it out.
So that part could use some work. With the vocals self we are more happy. A voice like this is not one that you are overgrown with, so of course there are names you could relate it to, it has enough of its own in there and with the needed variation in there we are sure that a full length could be a success.
