The so called ‘Punk Poet” Rob Moir is back with a new album. Two years on the road, two years of inspiration that lead to “Adventure Handbook”.
So this Canadian wrote an album based on tour experiences. Based on the titles of the songs you could make all sorts of guesses what that is going to be about, but perhaps it is best to simply give it a listen. You soon come to notice that the album is much about his adventures as said. Most stories have a lot of “I” references making it clear that it is a personal story that is being told. The album therefore is quite intimate. Hearing life through the voice of Rob gives you perspective and thought.
Are you seeing enough of the world yourself? Maybe you are or maybe you don’t but even sitting on a couch with a warm cup of tea and listening to this “Adventure Handbook” can be a revelation on its own. Simply listen and enjoy, the words are embraced with a suitable musical surrounding making it a cosy album that can set your thoughts on a travel. A delightful release that invites you to come see that live someday, somewhen.
