The Bridesmaid is a duo from London with a post-rock way of thinking on their music. They just released the EP “Grayson”.

Post Rock with perhaps that Black Metal influence in there, just coming from a Gnaw Their Tongues review that is though one element that strongly falls behind for The Bridesmaid is relatively light to listen to. Perhaps you could think of Liturgy as a reference, their latest release then. But above all of that it is clear that these lads are having a clear vision of their own sound, taking it freely and put their own identity into it. That results in music you can really lose yourself into. Sink into the sounds of guitars that built onto itself dragging you into it. A very atmospherical release. Although they could perhaps elaborate a bit on it to go even deeper and have these riffs blow your mind off, they certainly have a release that you want to listen more than once.

Four songs and there is that feeling you want more. That’s what a band want, to be able to leave their audience wanting more. It is clear, a full length of these guys could certainly set great lights up for them. This EP is a great introduction at least. Some fine tuning here and there and that album will be keeper!
