chILL – Artificially Alive

chILL is a metal band from Finland. Their very first formation was in 1995, but not until 2006 there was a steady line up. In 2008 the band released their debut album “Controlled Chaos” and in 2010 the promo “In Your Spine” saw light. After many years of quietness the band is now releasing a brand new EP called: “Artificially Alive”.

With renewed energy and aggression the band is giving us four new songs to enjoy. The band has taken their time away from it and with a new focus we can say that they come back strongly. The elements within them that makes them chILL are being properly highlighted and therefore you are listening to a unique band, regardless that their sound is not far away from what has been brought to the world before. Just their own taste to it is what makes it just that little more. A bit different line up may be in their benefit. Guitars by Eero Koivu getting some good time in the spotlights now and if you look at the whole picture you feel the guys have found a good balance in their sound in which each’s qualities come out well.
