Against The Current is a pop rock band from New York. The guys founded the band in 2011 and grew a quite large international fanbase through their Youtube channel “againstthecurrentny”. This is their debut album “In Our Bones”.

Against The Current is a female fronted rock band. The singer has a strong voice that she knows to use well. Whether it is rough and loud or soft and thoughtful, the voice always matches the song. “In Our Bones” includes twelve songs. Each one is telling a story out of the lives of the band. Deep and thoughtful. Stories everyone will be able to relate to. Beautifully arranged with an amazing voice that does not only cause the songs to get stuck in your head, but also causes you to sing or hum along to some of the songs. Against The Current might be a young band, but they sure know how to rock with the big ones. Reminding of a young Avril Lavigne, Paramore or even Taylor Swift.
