Emery is an American post-hardcore band from Seattle, Washington. Emery was founded in Rock Hill, South Carolina by Toby Morrell, Devin Shelton, Matt Carter, Josh Head, Joel Green and Seth Studley, and moved to Seattle in order to reach a more music centered scene.
This is their sixth album and is called “You Were Never Alone”. Starting out with soft and smooth rock music, the album continues with shouting and heavy music. And so it continues: Taking turns in soft and heartwarming music as well as shouted vocals and heavy beats. Emery is definitely showing off their facets and talent on “You Were Never Alone”. Twelve songs guide you through the ups and downs in pace and emotions. The songs are catchy and diverse. “You Were Never Alone” is filled with interesting bits and pieces, so it never bores. Each and every single one of the twelve tracks on this album is carrying its own spirit, combining it to a whole new world that Emery created with “You Were Never Alone”. A great album that wanders between styles for about forty-two minutes, carrying quite a lot of emotions and passion. Fans of good music, here is a great album for you. “You Were Never Alone” by Emery is out now.
