The Story So Far is an American pop punk band from Walnut Creek, California formed in 2007. Not to be confused with the former Chicago punk band with the same name. In just a few short years, a handful of EPs and three full-length albums, The Story So Far’s refreshing, energetic and impressively honest take on hardcore-infused pop-punk music propelled them to the cover of the 2013 Alternative Press 100 Bands You Need To Know issue, to the enduring subcultural benchmark the Vans Warped Tour, and into the hearts and minds of listeners.

This is their third album and is self titled. Coming with ten tracks this album is lacking of nothing. Catchy tunes and rocking songs that wander between pop and punk, alongside slow and touching ballads that dig deep and surely get below everyone’s surface. Ten tracks with great lyrics and music that slowly fades in with the background but is never lost. “The Story So Far” has a strong start with loud songs and ceases throughout the songs, slowly getting calmer and more quiet until the album is over. A beautiful concept that definitely catches attention and gets you to press replay various times without even noticing. So go ahead and let this self titled beauty get you.
