Broadside is a five piece Pop Punk band from Richmond, Virginia. They are signed to Victory Records, and were listed as on of the “100 Artists You Need To Know” by Alternative Press. Formed in late 2010, drummer and Musicians Institute alumni Andrew Dunton approached bassist Josh Glupker to join his project, and after a couple guitarist changes and over 50 vocalist auditions, the tight-knit rhythm section found their match in guitarists Niles Gibbs and Dorian Cooke, and solidified their current line-up with vocalist Ollie Baxxter. They have now released their sophomore album called “Old Bones”.
Coming with eleven songs this album lasts for merely thirty-five minutes. The album is quite short, but it is definitely kicking ass. Thriving rock music and catchy lyrics that get stuck in your head. The vocals are slightly shouted, the rhythm is pulling you along. “Old Bones” is a strong and rocking pop punk album by Broadside. It definitely is an album you should at least check out. The music of Broadside will do the rest in getting you hooked on their catchy rhythms and great songs. So let the music get you entirely and surrender to “Old Bones”. The second full length studio album by Broadside is out now.
