Beth Hart is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, United States. She rose to fame with the release of her 1999 single “LA Song (Out of This Town)” from her second album. Ever since then she has been on the road playing shows and making music. Sometimes alone, sometimes with other artists such as Jeff Beck. The latest collaboration was with Joe Bonamassa. This is her latest solo album and is called “Better Than Home”.
Beth Hart has chosen ten tracks plus one additional for vinyl and special editions. Wandering somewhere between jazz, country, soul and rock, Beth Hart is always including all her heart and passion. The lyrics of each song are very deep and emotional, probably even quite personal as well. With a gorgeous voice she is creating atmospheres and moods. From shouting and singing out loud to softly sung almost whispered vocals, Beth is taking you on a rollercoaster ride when listening to “Better Than Home”. Some songs are only accompanied by a piano, others with an entire orchestra, but each song, as different as they are, is equally beautiful. An amazingly impressive album for all lovers of good music. So go check out Beth Hart’s brand new album “Better Than Home” now.
