Guilty as Charged is a Belgian Band making Heavy Metal. Their first release saw light in 2009 and last year the band released “Leap of Faith” which now gets a more international boost.
This Belgian formation mixes Heavy and Thrash to create a sound that does not only represent themselves, but will bring many references to the known names as well. Think Slayer, the guys must have found a little inspiration there and although the band is balancing on the edge of being too much alike they have still enough of their own in there. A trap that lays there for them, their own identity would have to grow a bit stronger still.
But that being said the more positive things to find in this release are the great energy that comes from it. Must be a pleasure to see these guys live for they have some fury within them.
Altogether it comes clear. It is a release of a band that has the time to grow some more. A full length that maybe not gives you something new but has decent quality of music and you will enjoy it very well when you are into acts like Slayer.
