Eisbrecher is a German Deutsche Härte band founded in 2002. In these thirteen years of band history they have come long ways and still have a lot of fun on stage. Not taking themselves too serious they fool around on stage as well as on tv and also appear in mainstream events which makes their fan base grow steadily.
Rough music along with strong lyrics. Most of their songs are sung in German. They have now released their sixth full length studio album called “Schock”. Coming with fourteen tracks this album drags you off to another dimension. The music itself reminds a little bit of Rammstein, some tracks do at least. Eisbrecher does not only play rough and pushing songs, they also have quite some melodic songs you can sway along to. But just as many songs to can raise your fist to or dance along. But you sure can sing along to all of them. The lyrics are very interesting as they play with the German language and besides love, hate and tragedy, they also address some issues society has. “Schock” is an amazingly catchy album that includes songs for everyone, slow to fast, full of love to pure shouting. “Schock” will get stuck in your head instantly and makes you want more. What a coincidence that the guys will tour soon. So check out Eisbrecher and their brand new album “Schock” and don’t miss them when they hit your town.
