The Birthday Massacre (the abbreviated is TBM) is a Canadian band, formed in 1999 in London, Ontario, and currently based in Toronto, Ontario. They have now released their sixth studio album and called it “Superstition”.
Coming with ten tracks The Birthday Massacre are back in your player. Electro meets rock, soft girly vocals meet growling. The Birthday Massacre mix opposites again. And that is exactly what makes this album so interesting. The variety of songs go from fast and catchy to soft and lovely songs. All meant to get stuck in your head. Beautiful lyrics with a deeper meaning. Way beyond everything you might ever dream of. This album deserves your fullest attention, especially for details. Because there is lots to discover. Even though the actual duration of the album does merely reach forty minutes, it feels much longer. A must check out for fans of good rock music, electronic music and gothic stuff. This album sounds like a beautiful pink dress with a long black train that carries a lot of dirt and mud.
The Birthday Massacre are back and better than ever. Make sure to check out their current album “Superstition” and check their tour dates. They might hit your town soon.
