Days We Are Even is a band with as diversity of backgrounds. They make Modern Metal and had their debut album released in 2013. This year the band returns with album number two called: “Head Into The Fire” which is out now.

That Days We Are Even has a good commercial sound, we already knew from their debut album . When looking at the second album we are looking in which way the band progresses and it is clear that they have done a step forward. The songs just have a little more power, a little more catchiness and song writing that comes out just a little better. A strong production on their hands is helping the band also.
To keep that Metal in there may perhaps be a bit overdone. Think more of acts like Seether and Shinedown with their rocky edge and you get a bit closer to the sound of this band. Our comment on the previous release was that we were not sure if the band can come out as strong as this in a lvie situation. We must hold on to that comment although we are a little more confident that the band can bring their songs as massive as they are on a stage.

“Head Into The Fire” shows the band progressing. Not that they step too far away from their debut, so if you liked their first this one will surely be yours as well.
